today i would definately designate as "one of those days." I shall elaborate.
Woke up to my brand new alarm clock (which did happen to be VERY loud) promptly at 6am.
hopped into the shower. did the moring stuff. Then went to my 7:30am vocal test for my ear training class.
pick a number one through That sucked. first of all, its really hard to sing anything at 7:30am. and its really hard to think about and sing complicated music charts you have nver seen before at 7:30am. After that i went home and woke up nate (friend who lives with our family temporarily) and we team-mowed the lawn.
yeah we knocked that baby down in like 40 minutes. (which is really good if you have ever seen my lawn)
after that i went inside and finished up two essays i had to turn in today for english. i got those done and flew out the door to school. went to my music theory class and took a writen test that turned out to be easier than i though. then went to english and turned in the essays. after that i went to statistics and bomed my test in that.
i swear he translated the test into klingon--and i only know how to say one thing in klingon and that is
"ghay'cha! nachwljdaq betleh tu'lu'!" translated--"oh my god! there is an axe in my head!!"
Being that the test was on statistics, not things to say when you have an axe in your head, i didnt understand any of it. o-blah-di o-blah-da life goes on. right? so i left that monstrosity and went to arlington heights to buy a bunch of stuff at guitar center for me to use at my church....and i dont have to pay a dime for it. brilliant huh?
Paul redel and Brent graced me with their presence...which was nice. while i was there i found the coolest amp ever...the mesa boogie dual rectifier tremoverb. my new dream amp. some day maybe..
after that i made my way back to rockford rightquick and went to visitation for a close friend of my family's mothers death. not much to say about that. after that i went to Megs daily grind and hung out with paul for a while.
then about 8:30 i went to lone star steak house with Julie Speck for dinner.
now i am home and ready to end another day. another blog.
peace in the middle east
