A nice night to stay home.
Today was yet another grey and rainy day. Tonight the rain turned in to icy slush. Winter is arriving here in Wisconsin. I have not been in much of a mood for writing blogs in past weeks.
I extend a formal apology to those few that check this occasionally and have found nothing but dissapointment. I cant say that this post means that i will be back on the blogging train, but i might be.

I am currently listening to "Instrumental Piece Number 3" off the demos for the record Alice by Tom Waits. I cant express enough gratitude to that man for the art he has contributed in his life time. It's simply wonderful.

Thanks, Tom

well. i suppose after enough nagging comments about not posting, i finially have come around to make a post on this biznitch.

It is another cold day in Appleton. I found my self up a bit earlier than normal this morning due to the greyhounds howling. This is not all too uncommon, but today it was louder than usual.
These dogs have so much personality. Because of this, they seem to have become the center of gravity in this house. All things revolve around them. This may come across as an annoying circumstance, but it really isn't. Rather enjoyable, actually.

I finally found a chance to watch "The Other Sister" today. This is a movie that I have been hearing about since highschool. Not because of it's quality as a movie, but rather because the main character is a mentally dissabled guy named Daniel McMahon. I found this very entertaining to watch, mostly for that reason.

this is all i have to say for the moment.
goodbye

I feel I must assert my freedom to comment on an important public issue that Paul Mannone has thrust into the vortex of public comment. First off, unlike Paul's tractates, my own revenge fantasies are not vague and undefined. So let Paul call me dour. I call him mingy. We must understand that what really gets my goat is knowing that he is calling for blind, impulsive action for the sake of action, for the sake of making himself feel good. And we must formulate that understanding into as clear and cogent a message as possible.

By the same token, Paul's policies will have consequences -- very serious consequences. And we ought to begin doing something about that. Paul offers two principal reasons as to why he can change his putrid ways. He argues that (1) genocide, slavery, racism, and the systematic oppression, degradation, and exploitation of most of the world's people are all completely justified, and (2) he could do a gentler and fairer job of running the world than anyone else. These arguments are invalid for the following reasons: First, he has compiled an impressive list of grievances against me. Not only are all of these grievances completely fictitious, but Paul has been trying to convince us that it's inappropriate to teach children right from wrong. This pathetic attempt to tear down all theoretical frameworks for addressing the issue deserves no comment other than to say that Paul claims to have turned over a new leaf shortly after getting caught trying to progressively narrow the sphere of human freedom. This claim is an outright lie that is still being circulated by Paul's helpers. The truth is that Paul claims that space gods arriving in flying saucers will save humanity from self-destruction. Predictably, he cites no hard data for that claim. This is because no such data exist.

I don't object to Paul's magic-bullet explanations because thanks to Paul, the worst types of nutty cutthroats there are can now freely create an atmosphere that may temporarily energize or exhilarate, but which, at the same time, will pose the gravest of human threats. I object because he is absolutely mistaken if he believes that the majority of brown-nosing incubi are heroes, if not saints. In closing, although this letter has been lengthy there are still a large number of comments about Paul Mannone that I have had to leave aside. I didn't even begin to mention, for instance, that anyone who denies this and insists on looking at issues from a single perspective is a participant in a flat, simplistic, and incomplete world. Anyway, the important point is that the only visible result of Paul's initiatives has been a series of tactical and strategic policy blunders.

man. what a day. what a lazy day. I didnt leave the house other than to take the dogs out side a few times today. I did a lot of talking with people, wrote some letters, listened to a lot of music and did some much needed cleaning. Currently I am listening to "The Delivery Man" by Elvis Costello. Great record. Blogger doesnt have that cool thing that Xanga has where you can show the CD artwork above of your "currently listening to" selection. bah.
Now to move on to the actual reason i am posting....I thought today, as i am sure much of you did, about how little Brian Riggins updates his blog. It is especially dissapointing since in his last post he talks of a "twice a month" posing schedule...which, by the way brian, is the most pussy ass thing i have ever even heard you or anyone who has the ability to type say. I mean...like its that hard...this post from start to finish is going to take less than 15 minutes to create. The bottom line is that he is just a lazy human who will respond to this whole thing with something like, "Man, i got this job...im always tired...bixby's dad...the monitor turns on the air conditioning....blah blah. well. All of that is null and void for two reasons.
  1. Weekends - There is more than enought time for you to type something on the blog on the weekends. MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME.
  2. Mike Pape - I know mike works a lot. He also has a wife. He also has a dog. He also has other things to do, probably. BUT...on top of all that Mike finds time to improve the internet with his wonderful postings over at EPTH very, very often.
You have no excuses unless you have no fingers or Al Gore turned off the internet in Rockford.
Neither of which are an issue.

This all proves how much of an Ass Hat you are.

I love you Brian, all i ask is for blog posts.
can you deliver?
Mike Pape can deliver. Both pizza and an amazing up-to-date blog.
step up to the task.
be like Mike.
Mike Pape.

On Saturday I drove BMWs for 5 hours with my friend Luke. Driving BMWs is one of my favorite all time things to do. It was for the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. Those of you who think you may enjoy the same thing you should check the link out and see when the tour comes to your area.
We had a show that night in town and our parterns in crime from rockford came up and played with us. www.hmslive.com

Today I changed the comment settings on the getfoxed blog to try and get rid of the spammers. They were getting a bit out of control. I admire the persistance though.

It also seems Rachel is doing well at school. She sent me some pictures of her dorm and her room mate last night. Here is one:

I shall litter this thing with pictures after this coming weekend. buckle up.
