well dan. i guess i can say you motivated me.
not really though. I think I have come to the point where everynight when i should be posting on this I find my self being way to lazy to do it. My bed just whispers my name across the room....i would rather go and whisper back....not sit and type. maybe I should start doing this in the middle of the day. what ever.
Canada was an amazing trip. Im glad to get back now and get on to what may be one of the best summers of my life. Canada was the start, but i dont think it will even compare to what is going to follow....i thought about this for while I was sitting in our hotel room that was almost twice the square footage of my house.
I was sitting there....living the "lap of luxury"....drinking fine drinks from the bar...tipping generously...playing the card tables. Spent 24 living a life that most people only dream of having...and i dont think i would have wanted to stay there any longer. it was amazing...but it would wear off. after a week of that the big room wouldnt be so big or so cool any more. The valet parking wouldnt be convienent enough. nothing would be a big deal. And when I look at what i do know....and just realize that i am really happy because that is not getting old. i hang out with the same group of guys in the same van and play the same songs on the same instrument several times a week...and that doesn't get old. in fact, the more i do it the more i look foward to it.
those are my thoughts for the time being.
time to go rest my weary congested head.
