i finally got a lighter to burn my naga champa set and light my candles.
Both are going in full blaze. its so great.
practiced all day with our new organ player. I say that with 99.9% confidence that he will be in our band full time soon. he is so good. i cant even handle it. Easily as good as the counting crows organ/accordian player....and Josh does play accordian too. the rockford unplugged show is gonna be so awsome now because of this guy.
i cant wait to show him off.
So far no one has taken the advantage of the "shout out" function of the blog.
im going to have to start commenting on my own posts.
well its time to go. i am just going sit and stare at these candles and think about how redick fire is.
ciao.

im really tired and really awake....so much that i am not making sense.
alright. today was fun. woke up to enya being played way to loud on my comuter
by some stupid emo kids. Then worked on our new website new website as it got uploaded.
It looks good. Then had band practice. Worked on some stuff and got some new goodies ready for fridays show at
Mill Creek Blues. After practice i just sat on the computer for a while then went to Walmart with Dojo.
Then went to the webb. thats about it.
I have this pile of Naga Champa sitting in front of me on my desk...just begging to be burned.
I dont have a lighter or any matches though...and its really bugging me.
i also have this nice candle set that my mother gave me that would look very nice all lit up...
but again...nothing to start fire with. its hopeless. i must embark on bed.

i dont feel much like blogging.
so choke on that...im gonna do it anyway.
i am really awake and its 1:30am. everyone else is crashed. its rare there is nothing to do at this hour.
today we practiced a whole bunch then ate dinner at chilis. it was delicious...and our waitress was really good.
after that i watched two movies. "I spy" and "Stealing Harvard" both not as funny as they could have been...but still
worth a watch. im not pissed i watched either of them. yah. so thats about it. my hair smells good. Its totally the Herbal Essances conditioner i have been using.
Deffinately cash money. We found out today that Mr. Josh the organ GooRoo is going to be for sure playing with us on
friday and saturday. I cant wait. his work adds so much to out music. Its going to be really exciting. John from
Number One Fan is sleeping on the floor behind me and
making the grossest noises i have ever heard some one make while they were sleeping. .Fricken weird.
And with that i will bow out of the blog for the evening.
ciao.

today.
got up. went to church. booo.
went fishing.
went hiking.
had a cook out.
set up practice space for the week in cory's parents garage.
sat outside in rocking chairs (not at cracker barrel) and talked with dojo.
now going to bed.

some quick lyrics...this is a song by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. Has several names apparently.
I generally call it "Not For The Season" it also has been called "Laminated Cat" and "The Unified Theory Of Everything"
It was released on his side project called Loose Fur under the title "Laminated Cat"...but i like his acoustic version the best...its on the dvd..
and if you want me to send it to you i can. its a beautiful song.

Springtime comes, the leaves are back on the trees again
The snappers are harder to see my friends
Weeding out your weekends

Summer comes and gravity undoes you
You're happy because the lovely way the sunshine bends
Hiding from your close friends weeding out your weekends

Candy leftover from Halloween
The unified theory of everything
Love left over from lovers leaving
Books they all know they're not worth reading
It's not for the season

Autumn comes you sit in your chair and stare at the tv square
Hiding all your feelings weeding out the weekends

Winter comes and the days all start late
There's motion on the bows where the dark shapes prowl
Feeling up the feeling Feeling out of feeling

alright.
ciao
Over+and+Out

there are few things in life that make me smile.
in my last post i mentioned trish. In this post I will mention two more:

*Fishing
*Organ being played in our band by a fricken redick organ player.

Both of which i experienced today.
today was an odd day for me. it was...and i suppose still is...really hard and annoying...and really exciting and hopeful.
cory and i got our fishing licenses today and went out with pete hensel. no catches...but its still early to really catch anything.
it was just good to get out, cast a line and just relax. i kinda needed to.
after that we had our first practice with a possible new member to the band....
Josh...and organ player...he is really good and really cool. its a perfect fit. he adds a "final" dynamic to the band that has seemed to be lacking.
he will be playing friday at Mill Creek Blues. he is the man. The practice could not have gone better. Such a good vibe from him and his music.
That all really made what i thought was going to be a really crappy day be a good one.
totally sweet.
no song lyrics for today.
didnt get time to read through any.
time to cash it in for the night.
ciao
